The Whangawehi Catchment Management Group is a community lead entity working with Marae, landowners, school and agencies to enhance the Whangawehi catchment. The scope of our work includes riparian fencing/planting, pest control, water and fish monitoring, school engagement and now eco tourism with the development of a public walkway.
