Our role is to represent, advocate for, and support the hundreds of people living with neuromuscular conditions (progressive muscle wasting disabilities) across the whole lower North Island.

Manawatu Writers' Festival

Manawatu Writers’ Festival is a four day festival for writers, readers and would-be writers, featuring workshops, talks, readings, panel discussions, seminars and performances on a wide range of topics, presented by top-notch New Zealand authors.

The purpose of this Festival is to encourage connection between writers and readers; to promote, encourage and support aspiring writers; to encourage reading, literacy and an appreciation of literature in the community; and to promote the development of a community of writers who can support one another in the future.
